My name is Michael Harrison, and I am running to serve the people of Manatee County as your District 1 County Commissioner. I am a lifelong resident of Myakka City, a proud multi-generation Floridian, a husband, father, preacher, horse farmer, and small business owner. My life has been built on faith, hard work, and serving others. I believe in leading with honesty, integrity, and common sense. I will always put the people of Manatee County first by protecting our rural heritage, supporting responsible growth, improving infrastructure, and ensuring county government is transparent and accountable. My promise is to listen, work hard, and make decisions that preserve the values and quality of life that make Manatee County a special place to call home.
